The universe winked at me last week.

I was in Texas for a socially-distanced visit with my aunt, uncle and cousins. My cousin Mike, who I haven’t seen in 27 years, asked me what I’ve been doing lately, and I told him that I just published a book.

“I’m really happy with how it’s doing,” I said. “It’s been in the #1 spot on Amazon in the hot new releases in the mysticism and spirituality and inspirational personal testimonies sections since it came out.”

His daughter, who is in her 20s, was sitting on the couch with her friend Coral. They looked up from their phones and glanced at each other.

“What’s the name of your book,” Coral asked.

When I said Pull Your Self Together, her eyes got wide, and when I said A True Story of Alternate Realities, Spiritual Healing, and Dimensional Wholeness, she was nodding her head up and down and I could see the smile in her eyes even though her mouth was covered by a mask.

“My mom sent me a message about your book and told me I should read it,” she said with excitement.

“No way,” I said.

“Yes!” she said, explaining that her mom reads a lot of spirituality books and saw it on Amazon. She was sure it was the same book.

Mind. Blown.

Someone I don’t know recommended Pull Your Self Together to her daughter, who then happened to be at my aunt and uncle’s house when I visited them.

It’s hard to believe, but that is the power of connection, of synchronicity. It’s a wink of encouragement from the universe, telling me I’m on the right path.

When was the last time the universe winked at you? I’d love to hear your story of connection and synchronicity!
