Last week I was scrolling through a journal from 2017 and I found a rough outline for a science fiction novel about a woman who can connect to alternate timelines of her life and interact with other versions of herself.

Now, 4 years later, I’m about to release the book that I outlined, but it’s nonfiction — Pull Your Self Together: A True Story of Alternate Realities, Spiritual Healing, and Dimensional Wholeness.

What’s the difference? In 2017 I was afraid.

I was afraid that people would think I’m crazy, afraid that people would whisper behind my back, afraid that people would not understand. I thought I could hide behind science fiction.

In 2021, I am excited. I am excited to be true to myself. I am excited, and a little terrified, to bring my authentic voice to the world and see what happens.

I know that some people will think I’m crazy, and some won’t understand, and I’m okay with that now (even though it’s not easy).

In meditation, my spirit once whispered to me: You need not allow your soul’s voice to be stifled by the limitations of someone else’s mind.

I decided to trust the voice of my spirit, and it has made all the difference.

What does your soul’s voice whisper to you?

Close your eyes and listen. Hear the voice of your soul and take notes.

What is it you want to do? What are you afraid of? What does it mean to be true to yourself?

As I take my leap into the unknown, I appreciate that you are here with me, and I hope you will be inspired to take your own leap into whatever your heart is calling you to do.
